We have decided to try for the 23rd of August. We'll be meeting with our bishop tonight to see if he's available. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because I really don't want some court appointed lame brain to do it. But, whatever has to happen will happen, I suppose. The destination has been decided as Heather's backyard. If all goes as planned, the ceremony-which is a come-as-you-are dress code-will be at 6:00 Saturday evening, followed by an optional dinner at Golden Corral (in South Jordan).



Heather and Heidi have offered to do a bridal shower the Friday before, but I'm not sure of the particulars there yet, either.



Things seem to be falling into place. I'm not too worried about the normal stresses of a wedding. Thank goodness Kevin and I are relatively on the same page as far as our "low-key wedding". Granted, I did buy a wedding dress, and we are doing some of the traditional things, but this time it's more about the marriage than the wedding. I am so in love with Kevin, and am looking forward to making promises to him that mean more than just pretty words.

So, here we go! Married life is just around the corner!
